With thanks to our hard working Team Captains (What other race has Team Captains with titles such as "Keeper of the Kilts", "Haggis Hagarian", Captain of the Pipers, Captain of Shortbread, Captain of Fun Things, Captain of the Warriors, Director of Roads, Captain of Cheering Stations, Captain of the Cleanup!, and more and more. Thank you to get us this far. To the volunteers on the day - we cannot start without you.
And to the runners..it is your race. Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. We are pulling for you - we are all in this together!
                                    Darnley, over and out.
